Useful Stuff

I often get asked questions about website design and graphics. This page offers links to useful sites on these topics as well as places to pick up freebies and great programmes I have known and loved.

Art and Graphics

Deviant Art is jam packed with artwork designed for your computer by people with so much talent it should really be illegal.
How can I not link to a site called Wasted Youth? These boys have style and some great tutorials for programmes like Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver

Cool Programmes

Make sure you read all the specifications, terms and conditions and installation instructions when you download these programmes. I cannot be held responsible if they cause problems on your machine.

The best programme around for people addicted to messenger programmes. It allows you to combine all your chat programmes such as ICQ, AOL, MSN and Yahoo into a single interface which is far sexier than all of the others put together.
Bored with the bog standard Microsoft desktop icons? This programme helps you create your own suites of icons.

Beginners Guides

HTML Primer A great collection of HTML tutorials for the beginner. Each lesson contains a test lab for you to write the code you have learned so far and see it displayed in a browser.
Lori's Web Graphics Lori has written a great set of tutorials for Paint Shop pro users. Make sure to visit her links page for lots more How To websites. She has also included a link to download a trial copy of PSP7 so you can try before you buy.
